“Our tour of Avignon was disappointing. Our guide was a good person. BUT there was things I picked up, having worked with professional and registered guides in Europe in my business for many years. 1) The English language was not fluent or clearly pronounced. 2) He was not professionally experienced in guiding, as the historical information relayed was rehearsed, mundane, and not stimulating. The information was a stack of historical dates and peoples names with the lack of experience to create a picture for us to understand what was being explained. Listening for us was a real struggle, in fact tiring. The taste activity was lame, a cafe + 1…”
